Lake Roosevelt is the largest lake in Washington State, and is the dominant feature of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area, formerly known as Coulee Dam National Recreation Area.
With the construction of Grand Coulee Dam in the 1930's, the town of Kettle Falls was forced to relocate to higher ground, taking shape in the town of Meyers Falls, known now as Kettle Falls, WA.
The upper Lake Roosevelt region is rich with wildlife and cultural history. Beautiful ponderosa pine trees provide shade and wildlife habitat all along this section of the park. Kettle Falls is one of the best eagle viewing areas on the lake.
The lake offers many different types of recreation. In the summer months, the lake is open for jet skis. Also, the boating & fishing are incredible all year long. Many fun recreational activities await you!
See you soon!
